Meet Laura Manning

While studying biochemistry in college, with hopes of becoming a Forensic Pathologist, Laura slowly came to the realization that she didn’t want to care for the dead, rather to create a better life to the living. She immediately changed her major to Chemistry in hopes of furthering her studies in medicine. At that time, holistic medicine wasn’t popular, but she had no passion for pharmaceutical medicine. Upon graduating with a Chemistry degree, it dawned on her how difficult it would be to get a job without a PH.D. Instead of going back to school, she decided to work with her creative side and love for teaching to start her own business tutoring the sciences and giving piano lessons. During this period of time, she and her friends decided to “go natural” as they no longer wanted to use relaxers in their hair. While they embarked on this journey, she realized that many products on the shelves weren’t “all natural,” and contained many harmful ingredients that she learned in her studies. Using her love and experience in lab, she decided to make her own products. She had no idea that her friends would be interested in using an all natural hair product for their hair as well. So she embarked on a journey to make and develop products that heal and repair the scalp, as well as, strengthen and grow hair.
